Horse Breeds

The inhabitants from the steppe regions of Central Asia were the first to tame Horse breeds in about 300BC to 4000BC. The meat and milk that they provide is the main reason, why these horse breeds were domesticated earlier. Horses were used as the main mode of transport as man started searching for food and territory. Later, they were also used for some cultivation works mainly to plough the fields. The uses of horses gradually started increasing as the time passed by, especially in the northern regions. Horses were also used for drawing vehicles such as two wheeled chariots.
